You inspired me to try out a version (not sure if it's the same - grabbed it from a book) - I love the stretchiness of the the cast on edge (something I normally have trouble with). I have yet to finish a plain pair, and you have a fancy pair! They are gorgeous. I'd be tempted to buy some of those clear shoes to wear them with, had I knitted something so beautiful.
